St. Agatha’s Ministry of Care provides outreach from the Sunday Eucharistic Community to the homebound, those in nursing homes and hospitals. If you are going into the hospital or know someone who is going in, or is homebound, and would like a visit and Communion from a Care Minister, please call the parish office at 773-522-3050.
Also, if you would like to be a Minister of Care, let us know. We are always in need as we seek to serve the Catholic population at Mt. Sinai, St. Anthony, Rush, Stroger and UIC Hospitals.
St. Agatha’s Bereavement Ministry provides follow-up for those grieving the loss of a loved one. If you or someone you know would appreciate a call or visit on an anniversary of death, please call the parish office at 773-522-3050.
St. Agatha also celebrates a Memorial Mass of Remembrance on the 1st Sunday of November at the 10:30 Mass to commemorate those loved ones who have died in the past year.
